General Info

Meditation is arguably the most immediate method for attaining Self Realization. At first meditation is merely a method you will apply every once in a while and most people stick to easy meditation relaxation techniques, simply to relax their body and mind. While this is recommended and beneficial to your everyday life, it will not bring you the immortal knowledge, peace and bliss of your Soul.

In the beginning meditating is something you will do every now and then: This is where many people get stuck when on their inner journey. If your purpose is to simply relax the body and the mind, performing these easy meditation techniques every now and then throughout the week will do the trick for you. However, if your purpose is to discover your true nature, to bring about your buddhahood, you will need to take on a different perspective on what yoga and meditating actually is.

There are millions of meditation techniques and methods:
Ranging from focusing exercises like centering your breathing in Yoga, to the 4th stage meditation Buddhism, to Kundalini awakening Sahaja Yoga meditation. There are many different forms from many different religions and philosophies. Don't get lost in the amount and diversity of meditations.

Often after people become interested in meditation they are insecure and ask: "I would like to start doing some meditation but I searched the internet and there are so many methods, articles and books about it. I feel very confused as to where to start. What is the best way to meditate?" The best meditation technique is personal for everyone. I can give you what I believe to be the most essential of all meditations, which is Witnessing the Mind - Mindfulness Meditation and as a most valuable tool: Music for Zen Meditation. You don't have to study all techniques, just study a couple of the most famous, most essential ones and go practice them.

Meditation can become a way of living rather than a technique. In fact, to those who are serious and dedicated, it will become a way of life. When you develop through meditating and you start to understand the true meaning of it, you will realize that all forms of authentic spiritual practice have the same essence. When this realization comes, a lot of methods and exercises will seem unnecessary and far-fetched to you. At that time you will no longer use a specific method or visualization, you will simply become the meditation, you will become consciousness and be detached

from all that is different from your consciousness. You will become a living observer at any time you like, not just at appropriate times as you go and meditate.

You will be a meditator not only when in silence, but also when acting, while speaking, while moving and at times also while thinking. This state becomes accessible and easy to reside in once you truly start to understand meditation.
