Mind Control

General Info

In order to establish Mind Control or at least some decent control over the mind we will need to know some basic, essential things about it. It is not necessary in all cases, but for most people it is important to have a good understanding about the mind and the mind's processes. Correct understanding is a valuable, if not necessary aid in the beginning to get you started with confidence in what you are doing.

Once you pick up some momentum you will start to understand things in your own light and perspective. However, in the beginning stages I would recommend you to search for valuable information about the process and elements included in the process of spiritual development. Later on, when you feel more confident in your own knowledge and insight, feel free to let go of all traditional teachings and methods. Start walking and developing your own path and explain these universal principles in your own words. Knowledge is merely knowledge, wisdom is a perspective. But that perspective has to come to you and knowledge can help you to release your inner perspective; your wisdom.

The Valuable information above will help you to see and recognize
1:The mind's structure and
2:The mind's content in a clear perspective.
It will save you a lot of unnecessary, mental 'administrative' work.

Mastering the Mind is accessible for anyone that feels at least some urge or desire to change or improve his life and perspective. It is for those that are willing to honestly observe themselves and face the flaws that keep them bound to undesireable states. You must be willing to work on that, kind of as in saying: "Hey, I don't want to do/think this anymore, this gives me suffering" and transform that part of your mind into: "This is what I want to think/do from now on, it gives me joy and happiness." That is one of the first steps of Spiritual Development; to establish a firm and steady ground to work from. This is the 'administrative' work I was talking about. Result of this will soon express itself in your character and process of thought.

Training and mastering the mind can be a difficult trial for those that only want the highest possible mastery quickly and for selfish motives without wanting to create solid ground first. These are the people that have the greatest risk of slipping. That's not what yoú would want for yourself. To what degree you will establishe solid ground as preparation for advanced mental or spiritual development depends on 2 primary qualities:

  1. Proper (basic) knowledge
  2. Honest attitude/willingness

Number 1 is what this site provides for you.
Number 2 is something this site will try to provoke by delivering the spark to start the fire. However, in order for the spark to start the fire there needs to be not only the spark, but also a proper fuel; certain interest and desire to become enlightened.

If those two elements are within your reach and you apply the earnest attitude to work with the essential knowledge about the mind as it is presented here, as well as in many other places, you will see progression very soon. Once an individual starts moving towards Self realization, through Mind Control, he will benefit from that immediately. Your practice results will be reflected in everything you do. Not only noticeable for you, but for those around you as well.
